For the last eight years, I’ve been gathering everything that helped me get sober and, more importantly, everything that helped me actually enjoy being sober.

The little tools that got me through cravings. The things I learned about habits and triggers. The advice I wish someone had given me at the beginning. The podcasts, thoughts, exercises, tracking, connection and all the weird little things I’ve picked up from talking to thousands of sober and sober curious people over the years.

And now I’ve put it all in one place.

The Sober Awkward App.

I wanted to create something that feels like having a sober mate in your pocket. Somewhere you can open when you’re having a wobbly Tuesday afternoon and your brain has suddenly decided that drinking wine in the bath was actually wonderful and has conveniently deleted the bit where you woke up at 3am sweating and questioning every decision you’ve ever made.

It’s eight years of Sober Awkward, boiled down into the tools and support I genuinely think can help.

You can track your sober days, understand what’s happening as you move through sobriety, write things down, find support, learn about cravings and triggers, and have somewhere to go when you just need reminding why you started.

I didn’t want it to feel clinical or preachy. I wanted it to feel like us. Honest, useful, funny when it needs to be and completely understanding of how bloody awkward changing your relationship with alcohol can sometimes feel.

Getting sober gave me my life back, but it took me years to gather the tools that helped me build a life I didn’t want to escape from.

Now they’re all in one place.

Welcome to the Sober Awkward App. Eight years in the making, and hopefully one very useful little thing to have in your pocket.
